Feng Shui Prince George

Feng Shui Prince George - The oriental idea of Feng Shui plainly translates to "wind and water." This complicated concept is more easily understood than it is pronounced or defined. Feng Shui must be experienced in order to fully know its ramifications on the human spirit. The elusive energy called chi is ever existing and surrounds the application and the meaning of Feng Shui. While it is intangible, chi is all over in the world and is considered one's aesthetic periphery. Feng Shui reveals itself in our attitudes concerning landscape and about life. It is the framework we place either consciously or unconsciously all-around our lives.

In Oriental culture, the placing of several objects like furniture, buildings and graves is based on the patterns recognized by the flow of chi and yin and yang. Together, these generate both negative and positive effects. Feng Shui is made up of five elements. These elements are referred to as earth, wood, water, metal and fire. They combine in their own certain ways in order to create either positive or destructive cycles. In order for optimum Feng Shui to be acquired in any room, all of the five elements will be included without being overpowered by any one of them individually.

For example, if metal elements as in contemporary furniture pieces dominate a space, the effect could be balanced by introducing wood elements to the room like for example green plants. Candles can even be integrated to form the fire component. If implementing Feng Shui as a design feature inside anybody's house, it is vital to make use of natural substances whenever possible. The double aspects of yin and yang always reign supreme in Feng Shui as the ultimate goal is to be able to generate a harmonious balance between natural objects and human beings.

The bedroom is considered one of the more essential rooms in whatever house. The bedroom is essential to the flow of energy all over the house. Beds themselves are believed to have power positions as well. Some ancient Asian philosophy believe that the energy from somebody who ever slept in a bed leaves a residue. For optimum Feng Shui, how the bed is positioned with regards to the bedroom door has to be considered. The door needs to always be visible from the bed. If the door is not seen from the bed, one can use a mirror in such a way that it will reflect the door. This would restore Feng Shui.

Feng Shui connects the landscapes and life together and all things in our world depend on each other. Eastern philosophies believe that landscapes are breathing and living entities. There are several aspects regarding humanity and heaven and earth that the Western world could think about as those in the east do. Like as Shakespeare said in Hamlet, "There are more things in heaven and earth, my dear Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
